Blazes816.com is full of web based projects and blogging about programming, security, tech in general, and of course—human stupidity.

The site is built on Wordpress, which is something I’ve not very proud of. I’m quite ashamed, you could say. Due to the WP power some fun features you can look forward to are:

  • Frequent downtime
  • Slow load times

And if you’re really lucky:

  • Many bugs due to the hackiness of the Wordpress code to do what it does

Plus:

  • The hackiness of the code I had to write to get it to work the way I wanted!

(In all seriousness I’ve spent a lot of time getting it all to run smoothly, so there shouldn’t be any problems.)

A few years ago I started a torrid love affair with phpBB, and often write MODifications for it. I plan on rebuilding the side using it as a framework as soon as I get the time, but in the mean time, Wordpress will have to do.
